What is a .TIPA file?
A .TIPA file is a special kind of file used with TrollStore, which is a different way to add apps to iPhones and iPads. Normally, apps for these devices come from the Apple App Store, but TrollStore lets you add apps from other places. The .TIPA file is really just an .IPA file, which is the usual type of file for installing apps, but with its name changed. This name change is needed because when you try to send an .IPA file to your iPhone or iPad using AirDrop (a way to share files between Apple devices), it won't work. Apple doesn't allow .IPA files to be sent this way because they want all apps to come from their App Store.
To solve this problem, the people who made TrollStore made it so their app can work with files that end in .TIPA instead of .IPA. This means you can change the name of an .IPA file to end in .TIPA, send it over AirDrop to your device, and then use TrollStore to add the app to your device just like you would with an .IPA file.
To open a .TIPA file, you need to have TrollStore installed on your iPhone or iPad. Once you've got TrollStore, you can open .TIPA files with it and install apps that aren't available in the Apple App Store.
