What is a .RPG file?
An RPG file is a special type of computer file used to tell a Panasonic welding robot what to do. It is made using a program called Panasonic Desktop Programming & Simulation (DTPS). This program lets people create instructions for the robot, like how and where to weld. Once the instructions are complete, they are saved as an RPG file. This file is like a recipe that the robot can follow.
To make the robot do what the RPG file says, you need to move the file from your computer to the robot's control box. This control box is the brain of the robot. It reads the RPG file and makes the robot move and weld according to the instructions in the file.
If you have an RPG file and want to open it or send it to a robot, you need to use the Panasonic Desktop Programming & Simulation program. This program works on all types of computers and is specifically designed to work with these RPG files and Panasonic welding robots. There isn't a list of different programs to open an RPG file because it is meant to be used directly with the Panasonic robot's system.
