What is a .BIT file?

This program is used for both encrypting (securing) and decrypting (unlocking) personal files to protect sensitive information. Without this key file, it is impossible to access or recover the data contained in the .BIT file. Therefore, it is very important to keep this key file in a secure location and to have backups of it.
One notable feature of .BIT files is that despite being encrypted, the first 70 bytes of the file contain a Message Authentication Code (MAC), which is visible in plain text. This MAC helps in verifying the integrity of the data and can exist in two versions: MAC_V1 or MAC_V2.
