What is a .ARTPAGE file?
An .ARTPAGE file is a specific type of file used to store a single page from a scrapbook, photo book, or calendar. This file is created using the fifth version of a software program called FOREVER Artisan, which is designed for crafting digital scrapbooks and other similar projects. The .ARTPAGE file itself is structured as a Zip archive, meaning it is a compressed folder that contains several different types of files. Inside an .ARTPAGE file, you will typically find .JPG files for images, .TXT files for text, and .XML files that hold various pieces of data about the page. These files collectively store all the necessary information about the page's layout and design, including the placement of images, text, and other decorative elements, as well as metadata like the dimensions of the page.
When FOREVER released the sixth version of the Artisan software, they introduced a new file format called .A6PAGE, which replaced the older .ARTPAGE format. However, if you need to open an existing .ARTPAGE file, you can still do so using the FOREVER Artisan software, specifically the version that supports .ARTPAGE files. This software allows users to view, edit, and manage pages stored in .ARTPAGE files, making it possible to continue working on older scrapbooking projects.
